When the war calmed in 2003, Basra's sons have starts which make the life beating is "communications". In the scene that there was no means of communications inside the country, as well for outside it, therefore it was very necessary to provide an easy and fast way to do that. At that time the idea of establish an Internet café was born to help the needs of the country in that field. The café has been established under the name of "Internet Center", it was the first café net for internet and communication which has been established after the end of the war in Basra rather in all Iraq. Where it started to provide internet and communication services for the customers at afternoon on 23/5/2003. The people in Basra began to visit the center to be well informed with the local and international news and to communicate with their relations inside and outside the country. There was an important role for the center to facilitate the communication for all people in Basra generally. Also it contributed widely to help the local and foreign generalists and reporters whom belongs to the international news agencies by sending their news fast and at once as they coming. Also, the center helped many students to download the scientific researches from the international network. As a result of the fast successes which has been gotten by the internet center and the trust which has been increased with its costumers and the services which became more than as a café net, it had been decided to establish a company to mange the services which already provided and getting the expecting ambitions, that company was named |
